Inspiration

I am an artist whose work explores the tension between stability and chaos, reflecting a deeply personal element made of an ironic combination of self-destruction, freedom, and the pursuit of infinite possibility. I create work utilising materials that are often forgotten about or simply wasted, bringing life to the lifeless.

What remains in the surface

My practice explores the space between structure and dissolution - where forms emerge, fragment, and attempt to hold.

Working primarily with layered paint, line, and reclaimed materials, I construct compositions that behave less like images and more like systems. Lines act as signals or pathways, while blocks of color and texture suggest partial structures, bodies, architectures, or moments of containment that never fully resolve.

I am interested in the instability of communication: what is felt but not expressed, what is said but not received. Many works exist as suspended conversations - interrupted, misaligned, or incomplete. This tension between connection and disconnection runs throughout the work.

The body appears not as a fixed figure, but as a shifting field. Something sensed rather than depicted. Through layering, erasure, and gesture, I allow forms to surface and recede, balancing control with accident, intention with disruption.

Each piece is a negotiation: between clarity and ambiguity, weight and air, presence and absence. What remains is a trace of something trying to take shape - held, briefly, before it changes again.
