This piece carries a serene, meditative presence. The painting is composed of soft, earthy ochres and gentle whites that dissolve into each other across the bottom half of the canvas. It's divided horizontally, with the upper portion dominated by a warm, solid ochre-beige sky, still and expansive, almost like a desert at golden hour or a salt flat beneath a fading sun. The lower portion is where the motion and texture live: pale blue washes, transparent whites, and delicate markings create the suggestion of weathered stone, melting glaciers, or crumbling cliffs.

There’s something beautifully weathered about it, like memory embedded in stone. The way the paint thins in places and pools in others mimics erosion, both of landscape and time. The negative space above offers a contemplative contrast and silence to balance the subtle turmoil below.
