What remains

These paintings are built through accumulation and removal.
Layers are added, obscured, scraped back and reworked, often using recycled materials, fragments of earlier works, and found surfaces.
Each piece holds traces of its own making.

Marks are not always deliberate. Some are left behind, some are returned to, others are partially erased but never fully disappear. The work moves between structure and looseness, between something held and something slipping away. Forms emerge and dissolve. Lines connect, hesitate, or drift.
There is no fixed image to arrive at. Instead, the paintings exist as records of attention, of decisions made, undone, and carried forward.
What remains is not a final statement, but a surface that remembers.
