Esca & Amo (Bait & Hook)

Forms emerge across a divided surface, suggesting an offering extended and a force that holds it in place. The composition moves between openness and capture. Gestures reach outward, only to be redirected, contained, or absorbed.

On one side, warmer tones invite approach, while the opposing field introduces distance and restraint. Between them, shapes hover in a state of negotiation, neither fully stable nor entirely released. Marks accumulate as traces of attraction and interruption, where movement is continually checked by structure.

The work unfolds as a quiet tension between what draws us in and what binds us there—between the impulse to engage and the moment of being caught.
