This work emerges from a process of accumulation, interruption, and adjustment, where intention is continually challenged by material, gesture, and chance. Layers are built, erased, and reconfigured, resisting any fixed outcome.

Fragments of structure appear and dissolve within a shifting field of colour and line. What begins as an attempt to organise becomes something more instinctive—an acceptance of imbalance, of unpredictability, of movement without resolution.

Rather than imposing control, the work allows space for deviation. It embraces the moment where things slip, where direction is lost, and something more honest begins to surface.

In this tension between planning and surrender, the painting finds its form.
